What is a Masquerade?
If you’ve seen Phantom of the Opera, you know what a masquerade ball is. Everyone gets dressed up in fancy clothes (and sometimes costumes), all wearing masks. The idea is to be someone else for the night; have fun without revealing your identity.
Just to clarify, this is not a costume party. Don’t come dressed up as Spider-Man or a cheerleader. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get creative with your costume. Get your masks and outfits ready for this fabulous night of shameless masquerading! Here are some videos from PHANTOM OF THE OPERA to help you refresh your memory!!
Venetian Inspired Masks
We welcome all members! Our only prerequisite being you must ENJOY HAVING FUN! Wearing a mask is not mandatory but strongly recommended. Prizes for Best Couple, Best Male, and Best Female costume will be awarded! If you would like to participate, an assortment of Venetian inspired masks can be found in the links below.
