CHANGES IN RULES AND REGULATIONS
Section 14 - Changes in Rules and Regulations:
Amendments to the Rules and Regulations
of SCCMLS shall be by consideration and approved by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all members of the MLS
Standards Committee present and voting, subject to approval of
the Board of Directors of the SCCMLS and subject to an annual approval by the
Board of Directors of the Santa Cruz County Board of REALTORS® (shareholder).
(A) Any changes to the Rules and Regulations of SCCMLS, mandated by the National Association of REALTORS®, shall be
automatically incorporated into the current Rules and Regulations and do not
require approval by the MLS Standards Committee or the Board of Directors of
the SCCMLS.
Section 14.1
– Effective Rules Changes:
Amendments to these Rules shall become effective at such future
date as the SCCMLS Board of Directors may designate, but no sooner than ten
(10) Days after their approval in accordance with the governing documents of
the MLS. SCCMLS will send each Participant and Subscriber a written notification
via email of approved changes to these Rules.
(A) The MLS Standards Committee will re-evaluate any objection and
take appropriate action subject to approval of the SCCMLS Board of Directors at
its next regularly scheduled meeting.
