SMART GROWTH GRANTS
NAR's Smart Growth Action Grants support a wide range of land-use related activities. To be considered, activities should support the core purpose of NAR's Smart Growth Program: to support REALTOR® engagement in land-use related issues with the primary goals of affecting public policy’s that will support a more sustainable development paradigm while raising the profile of REALTORS® as community leaders and enhancing REALTOR® relationships with elected officials.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is a flexible program that provides communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs. The CDBG program provides annual grants on a formula basis to 1209 general units of local government and States.
COMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES
COPS — the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services is the office of the U.S. Department of Justice that advances the practice of community policing in America’s state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies. COPS does its work principally by sharing information and making grants to police departments around the United States.
