As of this date, these new limits will be in effect through the end of the year. HUD has also said they will extend programs like Ameridream (down payment assistance) through the end of the year as well.
What does this mean for you and your buyers? Buyers can now buy single family homes for as much as $271,050 in Santa Cruz County with NO MONEY DOWN if sellers are willing to offer downpayment assistance. These are substantial increases over the old limits.
